How does it work?

How does the UV Light disinfect?

There are 3 wavelength categories of UV light: UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C.

UV-C light has the shortest wavelength that breaks apart the DNA of the bacteria. Among the 3 wavelength categories, the germicidal is the UV-C light. As a result, the bacteria are unable to function or reproduce further. The UV-C wavelength present in the UV light is responsible for killing germs and bacteria. It can neutralize “superbugs” that have become immune to antibodies and ensures the removal of every possible bacteria, pathogens, viruses, etc.

Is it safe to use?

UV-C is found very rarely on earth as the various layers of the atmosphere prevent it from reaching the surface. This light is harmful to our eyes that is why UVLicht sterilizer box is specially designed to have intelligent human body sensing that will automatically turn-off UVC-light disinfection process when opening the cover to protect you from unprotected exposure to UV light. While the device is in use, there’s no escape of UV-C light from the box.
